Sunto Gyoza @ Maxwell Food Centre; Singapore

Sunto Gyoza another delightful food stall at Maxwell Food Centre. As the name suggests Sunto is most famous for their gyoza (Japanese dumplings). They also have other dishes aside from gyoza (just check out their menu, it's all over the their stall).

Sunto has also been written up in Japanese newspapers and magazines. They proudly display it on their stall (and from my experience of ordering and tasting their gyoza I can clearly see why that is).

I opted for their Prawn & Chicken Gyoza (fried). I decided on getting 5 pieces.

Prawn & Chicken Gyoza (Fried); SGD 4.00

Their gyoza may not look like a traditional gyoza dumpling and more like some fried wrapped something, but looks can be deceiving! It was really good, tasty and juicy.

The gyoza has that "homemade" appeal. I also like the fact that the ingredients (usually pork) of the gyoza were adjusted to make sure anyone and everyone can have a go and bite of it.

There's the Whole Prawn!

Sunto Gyoza is, for me, another food stall everyone must check out if they make a visit to the Maxwell Food Centre in Singapore. The food is good and worth every dollar you pay. The owner is very friendly too. He's really easy to talk to and makes sure you are treated well while you order your food.
