Goen Japanese Udon Noodles (Japanese Tonkatsu Original Curry Rice) @ Wisma Atria Orchard Road; Singapore

Only two things would make me go to Orchard Road, my family/friends and food. And since the former wasn't around, then the food it was!

I love Japanese Curry and for me one of the best can be found in Food Republic of Wisma Atria. It's called Goen Japanese Udon Noodles. Before you judge, Goen specialises in both Udon and Japanese Curry; despite the name. And I have to say, their Japanese Curry is definitely one of the best!

I decided to go with my top order, Japanese Tonkatsu (Japanese Pork Cutlet) Original Curry Rice.

Served in a big white plate with warm Japanese rice on one side and curry flowing all around on the other. The sliced pieces of tonkatsu are neatly and delicately placed on top of the rice.

It's really good, much better than Curry Monster (in my opinion). And much more authentic and affordable.
