If you want food that is a fusion of East and West with a gourmet twist, then Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro Bar is the place to go!

Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro Bar's menu includes an All Day Breakfast and a Lunch Menu. Price wise it isn't on the cheap, ranging from SGD 16.00-28.00 (depending on the dish that you get) but you'll definitely get what you pay for.

My Brother and my Sister-in-Law flew in from Manila for a visit and decided that lunch would be in this particular restaurant. The ambienace of the restaurant is one that is homey but still has the class an sophistication (a little bit rustic, a little bit of modern and a little bit industrial) of a place you would hang out with friends over some food and a couple of drinks.

On this visit I decided to order the Spaghetti Carbonara and a glass of Iced Tea. But like I said the food here is not on the cheap side, but still worth every cent you are pay for (or at least for me).

Spaghetti Carbonara SGD 14.00 (for single serving)
& SGD 21.00 (for sharing)

Iced Tea SGD 6.00

The Spaghetti Carbonara was creamy and had chunks of tasty bacon, which all blended well to give a smokey, salty, creamy and perfectly seasoned taste. The Iced Tea wasn't made by using syrup or mass produced ready mix powder. It was homemade, using black tea which was boiled, cooled and iced. And being homemade from black tea it is naturally bitter to the taste, so of course you would need some sugar syrup to sweeten it, as you would prefer it to taste.

The total for my meal was SGD 20.00, which was definitely worth it. And I do think that Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro Bar deserves a another visit in the near future. I would love to try out their burger next time.
